What does the SAVLAB mean under the test methods?
Some test methods have been developed at SAVLAB to provide special test information to our clients that may be unavailable from other sources. These internal test methods carry a SAVLAB method identification.
What are the turnaround times provided by Savant Labs?
Our fee structure is designed to give customers a choice depending on the urgency of testing requested. The turnaround times listed below apply to most tests, although certain specialized analyses may require additional time.
Standard Service: Delivery of data to the customer by email within ten (10) working days of receipt of sample. (Standard Prices)
Expedited Service:Â Delivery of data to the customer by phone or email within five (5) working days. Expedited service may not be available for all tests. (30% Surcharge)
Rush Service: Delivery of data to the customer by phone or email within three (3) working days. Some tests require more time to complete and are not able to be included in our rush service. (50% Surcharge)
24 hr. Service: Delivery of data to the customer by phone or email within one (1) business day of sample check-in. This service must be scheduled by phone and is only available for certain tests. Please call to schedule. (100% Surcharge)
How long do you keep customer reports?
Customer oil and grease (non-flammable) samples submitted for testing are kept for a minimum of one year from the date of receipt. Sample retains from fuels and other flammable samples will be disposed of upon final report completion. Other arrangements can be made for the storage or return of non-flammable lubricant samples at the customer’s request. Copies of reports and raw test data are kept by Savant Labs for a minimum of five years
How do I submit a sample for testing?
The steps for submitting a sample to Savant Labs are available. Clients are asked to enclose a copy of the Savant Test Authorization Form with every set of samples sent to Savant Labs for testing. Please contact our Customer Service Team with any questions at Savant@SavantGroup.com
What are Savant's payment terms?
Savant’s payment terms are Net 30 days with approved credit. A purchase order is required unless other arrangements have been made. A late payment charge of 1.5% per month (18% annual rate) may be applied to past-due invoices. Payments should be made payable and mailed to:

Where do I find the Credit Card Payment Form?
Savant accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express credit cards. Orders paid by a credit card will be charged a 3.5% transaction fee.

Savant places quality at the center of everything we do. From the first entry of a customer sample into our laboratory until its final disposition, we treat it as the valuable and often irreplaceable source of information it is. Our forms are available on our website under Quality Assurance.Â
Where can I find Savant's 17025 accreditation document?
Savant Labs is ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accredited by Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation Inc. for Chemical and Mechanical testing. ISO 17025 accreditation provides a sense of trust that your samples are being tested by a world-class quality laboratory recognized by International Standards Organizations. Savant’s data will carry additional credibility when shared with your customers.
